(Schillebeeck, 1981) The New Testament, through the words of those who would carry the mantle of early Christianity ensured that prayer like everything else was in celebration of God's glory (I Corinthians 10:31 , Colossians 3:17, 23 ) and the importance of God (Romans 6:13 , Romans 14:7, 8 )."
