These issues revolve around the issues of land usage, long-term economic budgetary allowances, and the need for green building initiatives in the regions of Mecklenburg County. Also, the problem of expansion threatens Charlotte, as it is one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas that are using land at an exponential rate to its environmental capacity."
