"DNA encodes for the surface glycoprotein of the rabies virus that induces high level of neutralizing antibodies." This is promising, since the DNA vaccine is less expensive, easy to use, and does not require refrigeration. As a result, the vaccine could be supplied worldwide, especially in areas where rabies is an epidemic."
