Abstract The paper describes the HendersonMultigenerationalCenter, which is a recreational center that offers opportunities for exercise and game time, has a large aquatic complex with both indoor and outdoor pools and has a computer lab and an art gallery. The paper relates that the facility can be home to cultural events, lectures and courses as well as to sports leagues and teams. The paper notes that the recreational center can also be enjoyed by the physically and mentally challenged because its facilities were built with diversity in mind. The paper points out an environmental concern but concludes that the MultigenerationalCenter at Henderson is an inspiration for facility designers, planners and managers.

Abstract This paper describes the phenomena of call centers being established in developing nations. First, the paper describes the evolution of call centers. Then, the writer describes the impact of globalization and the improvement of the Internet. The paper then uses the examples of India and the Philippines as developing nations that have become popular locations for call centers. Abstract The paper discusses client centered therapy, a concept that was developed by Carl Rogers throughout the 1940s and 50s. The paper explores how the focus of the therapy is on the client, as the therapist allows the client to discuss issues within his or her life. Through the client's own words he or she is capable of discovering answers to life issues, being supported by the therapist through questions and answer, clarification of thoughts, or restating situations. The paper further discusses how client-centered therapy is a non-directed approach in which the therapist allows the client to talk and discuss answers by themselves.

From the Paper "The World Trade Center, erected as "a living symbol of man's dedication to world peace," (Wetxstein- 2001) was the most valuable commercial property in the history of New York City until terrorist attacks reduced it to rubble. The buildings towered over lower Manhattan for nearly thirty years; an icon of financial power.The buildings contained more than 200,000 tons of steel, 425,000 cubic yards of concrete and 600,000 square feet of glass in 43,000 windows. Each floor, a reinforced concrete pad on a metal deck supported by steel cross beams, was about one acre and weighed about 4.8 million pounds. The building was designed to withstand the impact of a 707 commercial airliner. It was the largest commercial airliner built at the time the World Trade Center was designed. This was a factor considered due to the accident in 1945, where a B-25 crashed into the Empire State building."

Abstract Weight issues are a concern of millions of people within the country on a daily basis. Physicians have repeatedly warned Americans that being overweight can create serious health issues such as diabetes, heart disease, and stroke. Yet, although this common information exists, obesity remains a national health concern and does not appear to be diminishing to any significant degree. This may be because many overweight individuals excessively eat in response to emotional upheaval in their lives. When pressure is applied from outside sources to loose weight, the emotional tension becomes even more severe, causing more weight to be gained and obesity to appear to be permanent in the individual's life. This paper examines person-centered therapy as an approach to assisting people with weight loss.

Abstract This paper explains that Henderson, born in 1897 in Kansas City, Missouri, attended the Army School of Nursing in Washington, D.C., graduating in 1921 to become the first full-time nursing instructor in Virginia. The author points out that Henderson was instrumental in pushing for the inclusion of psychiatric nursing in educational programs in Virginia.
