Celanese AG is a company with worldwide operations and leads in the production of key products with leading production technologies. The products cover five main segments, these being acetyl products, acetates, chemical intermediates, engineering plastics (Ticona), and performance products, the latter including polypropylene films (OPP) and food additives. Celanese AG has a worldwide workforce of some 13,900 employees and operates production facilities in North America, Europe, and the Asia/Pacific region. The corporation currently has 32 production sites in eight countries."
