"A diverse workforce is one of the most useful assets a company can acquire. Having a diverse workforce will allow a corporation better and more effective execution, more adaptability, a greater service range (global economy), more viewpoints, and a diverse set of skills (language, technical, and others) (Wikipedia, 2008). With a diverse workforce comes problems such as communication, resistance to change, difficulty implementing diverse groups into corporate culture/workplace guidelines, and difficulty in managing diversity. Management can deal with these problems, create a positive work environment, harness the power of a diverse workforce, and create new opportunities for the company by training themselves thoroughly, communicating often with staff, training staff for diversity, and utilizing company resources as often as possible."
