Paper Summary:

This paper describes the many platforms of social networking that exist and explains how blogs are an integral part of this framework. The paper discusses the factors responsible for the growth of blogs and specifically how these factors are aligning perfectly with the concepts of God's love and peace. Finally, the paper discusses the use of blogs as a means to evangelize and spread God's word. Several tables, graphs and figures are included with the paper.

"Ironically the same foundations of collaboration and fellowship underscore Web 2.0 as has been seen in the development and growth of the first Christian churches thousands of years ago. With the advent of Web 2.0, there is the opportunity to create virtual online churches that reach many more million with God's message of love than can be reached for any given Sunday. As Jesus Christ said in Matthew 9:37, "The harvest indeed is plentiful, but the laborers are few," He could have just as easily been discussing the role of Christian bloggers in the 21rst century."
