Conclusion

From the Paper:

"In order for social workers to more effectively address the individual and community-level problems related to unemployment, two conditions must be met. First, lawmakers need to protect citizens through effective social services including access to career counseling. Minority communities should receive specialized social workers and social support systems. Second, American society needs to embrace ideas of collectivism. When communities work together to alleviate the problems related to unemployment, social workers can become more effective at intervening and offering their professional expertise."
