"The World Development Report issued in 2005 by the World Bank, specifically the section Selected World Development Indicators, is of particular relevance in regards to the growth of the countries of the world, and the optimistic trends and correlations therein. The World Bank has gathered its information from a number of reliable resources, namely their member counties' statistical publications, international organizations such as the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund, and many others. (WB 253) Thus, the implications drawn based upon the information gathered are of particular importance given the variety of in-depth industry statistics employed."
