The paper discusses why teachers are perceived as both the facilitators and the mediators of learning. "Teachers take the most crucial role not only in developing the minds of the students, but also in keeping the students interested and motivated to learn. This is the very reason why teachers are perceived as both the facilitators and the mediators of learning. More so, it has been a common knowledge that teachers also play a very important role in the development of the elementary student's mind and psychological state. Because of this, it is indeed a very important attribute for every teacher to know, not only the basics of teaching, not only the knowledge or information they are to provide with their students, but also the very process of effective teaching."
