Satire is defined as "a literary work holding up human vices and follies to ridicule or scorn; trenchant wit, irony, or sarcasm used to expose and discredit vice or folly (Merriam-Webster Dictionary)." The use of satire evolved in various media and one of which is the cartoons or comic strips in newspapers, magazines and other literary journals. A famous cartoon rendition of satire is the comic strips of Dilbert by humorist/cartoonist Scott Adams, which has been syndicated worldwide to over 65 countries."
