"Throughout the course of the brief history of the United States no topic has been more widely debated and heard by the U.S. Supreme Court than the First Amendment and its provisions. Including some of the most fundamental reasons the United States was founded including freedom of speech, freedom or religion and freedom of the press, the First Amendment has been placed under a microscope with the U.S. Supreme Court acting as its interpreter. With many variations of multiple issues both of historical and personal importance cases are heard not only to reach a verdict but to be put into the books as future references for issues that have not yet arisen."
