"Within contemporary society, a great many scientists, policymakers, environmentalists, and concerned citizens are worried about the frustratingly slow adoption of computers and other modern technologies in schools. While computer technology may be quickly spreading to almost every part of life, it is curious that the introduction of technology in schools has been less than successful. During the twentieth century there were many waves of considerable investment to improve education, but none had a significant lasting impact on education. Regardless of the generous investment in and the increased presence of computers within schools, they have been found to be unused or unused in most schools. (Zhao, Frank 807)"
