This paper explains and examines the Confucian strategy of Ren. It looks at Ren's components and describes the Confucian application of Ren not only as a principle and as a core moral value, but also as a life strategy. The paper specifically examines the way in which Ren explains how the self can cooperate with other human beings in society at large.

"Ren is easy to understand when all its aspects are examined. The Confucians apply Ren as a core value in all aspects of their daily lives. Ren is not just a principle or core moral value, but it is also a life strategy. The Confucius strategy of Ren is a basic core moral value, in addition to being the solution to the puzzle of self. For Confucians solving problem of interdependence means individuals follow Ren's strategy. This strategy requires humans to be courageous and take lead, and also, use to use rational judgment when making decisions. According to Confucians if the strategy of Ren is followed a then a people will be able to establish themselves and others in order to live a cultivate life in a world of cooperation where people become free through cooperating with one another."
