"My goal at work is to provide that atmosphere for employees in order to motivate them, but I want the same atmosphere at home so that my family knows that I love them. Thus, my professional performance is a reflection of the means by which I fulfill personal ideals. This is where my emotional intelligence becomes so relevant and essential. By adapting to other people's comparative strengths in the team setting, I develop more effective communication, on the job and at home. As long as I do not dictate, and motivate people, then I also know I am treating my children and my spouse with respect and maintaining my ideal of a harmonious and peaceful environment that fulfills not only professional needs, but personal and spiritual ideals as well."
