This paper discusses the ways in which decision-making for an organization can affect the short and long term goals of the company, as well as the effectiveness that the organization has on the workers and the population being served. It specifically focuses on non-profit organizations and the elements within them that are related to decision- making. It also looks at how those elements can negatively or positively affect the future of the non-profit business.
From the Paper:
"The ideas presented in relation to intergovernmental relations provide evidence that any business in the modern society should repeatedly be focused on researching its connections to other organizations. This is because each society is consistently evolving, and as societies evolve there is the possibility of new policies and laws being created that will change the impact that one organization can have on the business. This evidence further leads to an understanding that research of the business and the country that governs the production of that business can never be complete because people are continuously demanding social change."
