1,515 words (approx. 6.1 pages) | 9 sources | MLA | 2009 United States

Paper Summary:

This paper discusses how methamphetamine has proliferated within American society and has drastically increased the rates of crime, specifically abuse and violence. The paper examines the laws aiming towards the eradication of methamphetamine, including the Combat Methamphetamine Epidemic Act of 2005, the Methamphetamine Remediation Research Act of 2007 and the Family-Based Meth Act of 2007. The paper concludes that since both the people and the government seem to be united in methamphetamine's elimination, the abuse should be lessened in the years to come through a concerted and consistent effort.
