"The authors of these psalms went through similar experiences, but they also tell about how the life of Jesus including the suffering and death of Jesus. Psalm 22 tells about the antagonism and malice the crowd felt toward Jesus (Jackson, 2003). Psalm 22 tells how Jesus dies a humiliating death on the cross. The psalm even tells about the mockery of Jesus (Long, 2006). The resurrection is told about in Psalm 22: 18 and Psalm 68 tells about how he ascends into heaven. When studying the Psalms, it is important to remember that some of the Psalms apply to the author and to Jesus, while other Psalms are predictions about Jesus."
