"In the days of Sir Robert Peel's "Bobbies" as they were known as, there were no such divisions as "SWAT" teams, narcotics or traffic divisions, vice squads, computer crimes units as these types of crimes did not exist. The concept of community policing which began in the 1960's, is still a relatively new concept as continues to under go changes and development in today's society. With all these new concepts and development of teams and divisions, come the challenges of managing them in addition to the stresses of ever day operations within criminal justice organizations that already exist."
