From the Paper:

"Using the internet to find credible sources for writing methods and organization styles can be very beneficial. One good source for the writing process is the website created by an elementary school teacher named Kimberly Steele that takes a unique approach to the writing process. Kim calls it the timeline. Kim's approach to writing a long assignment is to break it down into several sections. She gives each student a copy of the timeline, complete with due dates. Each section is graded when it becomes due, and the final draft is graded as a 100 point test. This gives her students the opportunity to complete the assignments in time, and bring each assignment together in an organized and timely manor. Along the way, she provides feedback and allows the class to provide feedback and advice for improvement as well."
