"Those that think that was a pure coincidence must also believe in the tooth fairy. The Iranian regime pretends that they are completely unaffected by the implemented sanctions against their country, and perhaps they are. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the Iranian population who are feeling the severe strain on their economy. Yet, the U.S. has concluded that a military attack on Iran would be a disaster. For Iran, the region, and perhaps more importantly for Bush and the Republican Party and its chances to influence or control U.S. politics, not that anything could really help them at this point."
