Paper Summary:

This paper addresses Smith Systems Consulting's growing international e-business. The paper examines the potential legal issues that the company may face in conducting such business and offers possible solutions. Specifically, the paper focuses on the applicable laws as well as courts of jurisdiction.

From the Paper:

"Smith Systems Consulting describes the World Wide Web as "the marketplace of the new millennium" (University of Phoenix). The company, which was founded in 1994, concentrates on delivering "high value web and business application services" in this marketplace. A majority of the organization's current customers are regional companies; however, they are expanding at a rapid rate. It is very likely that, as a part of this expansion, the company will soon take on clients that are located throughout the world. Additionally, Smith Systems Consulting's current list of clients will gradually be conducting more business on an international level."
