The reason behind same-sex preference has intrigued scientists for many years. This paper briefly examines three models that address this problem: the Model of Permissive Biological Effects; Model of Indirect Biological Effects; and the Model of Direct Biological Effects. The paper then looks at several studies and their findings on the subject.From the Paper:
"The other sector contends that homosexuality is environmentally, functionally or behaviorally determined. It is not nature but nurture that leads to its development (Wright). Many argue that the human race is so diverse that how each person is cared for from birth is completely different from how another is raised and what sexual orientation develops out of it.
