"The passage is from one of Sappho's poems "The Wedding of Hektor and Andromache". In this passage, there are many concepts, values and themes related to Ancient civilization. One of these is the nature of the relationship of mortals and gods, even the most heroic mortals. Due Hackney maintains that the hero can be immortalized but the hero is not by nature immortal. Nevertheless, being descended from gods, we see that Hektor is treated like a god and revered..."
