"In conclusion, the techniques of close framing, rapid editing, and ranging cameras, are the basis of David Bordwell's filming styles that define a modern "culture of violence" in American film. In this manner, the film Fight Club, directed by David Fincher, helps to convey these exact techniques, which help to bring forth an intensified continuity that includes rapid editing and other quick-fire filming techniques to imply the various facets of conflict and violence. Through the various scenes of Jack's intensifying insanity, one can realize the depth and scope of the portrayal of insanity through the use of the camera.
