From the Paper:

"To measure the impact of Six Sigma improvements on their performance, manufacturers often create dashboards on their Corporate Intranet sites to continually monitor performance gains. These dashboards include many measures or performance (sometimes called metrics) so that managers can see how Six Sigma-based changes to how products are produced and sold are making a difference in their financial performance over time. The bottom line is that Six Sigma's contributions to a manufacturers' overall performance can be measured over time both from an efficiency and financial standpoint."
