The definition of conflict management as defined by Wikipedia refers, "to the long-term management of intractable conflicts. It is the label for the variety of ways by which people handle grievances, standing up for what they consider to be right and against what they consider being wrong." (Wikipedia, 2007). The key to effectively managing conflicts is the ability to choose which management style is best appropriate for certain situations.
