From the Paper:
"Vince Lombardi was an American football coach that during his thirteen years of this vocation never had a losing season. This supports the paper's theory of Lombardi being a great coach, perhaps the best of his generation. This point of view is further developed in the fact that he won five NFL championships as well as the first two Super Bowls. Lombardi was born in Brooklyn New York in 1913, he was awarded the NFL Man of the Decade in the 1960's and he led the Green Bay Packers to victory year after year during his tenure as their coach. (Wikipedia Online Encyclopedia). Lombardi began his love of the sport football during his high school years when he was a fullback. His college years were spent at Fordham University where he was the football team's guard as well as part of the line called the Seven Blocks of Granite. He went on to coach at St. Cecilia's Academy in Englewood where he won numerous state titles for the football team there (Encarta Online)."
