From the Paper:

"The appraisal of the employee or individual upon a situation of uncertainty or challenge will have a direct effect upon their reaction. Their levels of perceived stress and control will influence their choice to either avoid, or cope, with the change. This appraisal acts as a mediator between the amount of change and its perceived stress, with the level of coping or avoidance affecting the success therein. (Kohler et. al. 168) Communication with the employees along the way is an effective way of reducing stress, as employee satisfaction in regards to their communication with the administration during a time of change is beneficial, as there is a relationship between sources of stress and communication satisfaction. (Lots, Donald 6) Thus, it is important, when pursuing any kind of change or move which creates stress within the employees, to take them into account, and for a better guarantee of success, involve them in the process, as their feedback along the way to influence and mold the change is endlessly more useful and less costly than their refusal to accept them after the fact."
