Children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder often show low levels of academic performance and are easily distracted in the classroom or during the learning process. In more detail ADHD is characterized by"... a persistent pattern of behavioral symptoms of inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity ....Children showing behaviors that are characteristics of ADHD have been found to be highly "at-risk" for maladaptive educational and social outcomes.
