"As far as the criminal justice system of the United States is concerned, police is the vital element of that system for ensuring public safety and this act has augmented the efficiency of criminal justice system by empowering the law enforcement. Similarly, this act has also enhanced the competence of other core components of the criminal justice system by easing their executions. Such is the example of discretion, which is exercised throughout the US government for various operations and this act has delivered ultimately a strong criminal justice system (Bureau of Justice Statistics, 2004)."
