Specifically, the topics to be addressed by the research are how technology is currently used in today's classrooms to enhance the reading/learning skills of low level students with special needs and how teachers can better integrate technology into instructions of low level students of special needs. The paper contends that the research will add to existing literature on the role of technology in education. Also, one practical implication of the research is that it can change the way educational-providers deal with low level students with special needs.
