AIDS and Teenagers

AIDS and Teenagers
This paper is a research proposal to determine the role of gender in attitudes of high school seniors toward condom use and the prevention of AIDS.
1,800 words (approx. 7.2 pages) | 12 sources | 1995 United States

From the Paper:

"Changes in the character of HIV (human immuno virus) transmission and AIDS (acquired immunity deficiency syndrome) victimization has expanded substantially the number risk groups in the American population. Heterosexuals are as much at risk as are homosexuals, females are as much at risk as are males, and teenagers are as much at risk as are young adults--if sexual behaviors are equally undisciplined and if safety precautions are equally disregarded. A large segment of the population, however, continues to cling to the early perceptions surrounding HIV transmission and AIDS victimization."
