"Asbestos is the 'fibrous form of mineral silicates belonging to the serpentine and amphibole groups of rock-forming minerals, including actinolite, amosite (brown asbestos, cummingtonite, grunneriate), anthophyllite, chrysotile (white asbestos), crocidolite (blue asbestos), tremolite or any mixture containing one of the following: (1) asbestos containing materials; (2) asbestos dust; (3) asbestos fibre. Asbestos has been identified as a designated material by the Workplace Health Hazard Regulation. The work entitled: "Your Guide to Working with Asbestos" published in March 2003 relates safety guidelines and requirements for work involving asbestos."Sample of Sources Used:
