"The American health care system is one that is mainly driven by profit. With skyrocketing cost of care, more Americans are uninsured and are having a difficult time coping with rising premiums. Businesses are being hit hard too since most employees have their health coverage tied to their jobs. An employer has to pay more out of their pockets to handle the coverage for employees and eventually passes on the burden to them by demanding higher out of pocket payment. Generally speaking, the cost of health care in America is usually back by three major sectors of the economy which includes the individual households, businesses, and the government."
