But the difficulty is due to the insidious nature of the disease "which can be latent or lie dormant for years, springing up and spreading before anyone notices and to human nature in not wanting to take medicine when they feel better, thus creating drug resistant strains of TB, or any infectious agent. This paper will define the condition of those most likely to contract TB (disease and nutrition status, for example); the places where TB is found to be most prevalent, as well as other "environmental factors""; the specific biological agent responsible for the disease, and; the history of the disease throughout the ages."
