" The cause of war has been a popular topic of debate for many years. The American civil war has been a popular example of this phenomena. Many people believe that the issue of slavery was what caused the Civil War however, it has been proven time and time again that there were many factors in the decision to go to war at that time and the issue of slavery was simply one of those issues.
