"A slightly less radical view than those expressed by the previous group is that it is OK to teach about abstinence from sex, but it is not OK to teach about other topics such as contraceptives and sexually transmitted diseases. This particular group has gained the acceptance and support of the Federal Government, even though their approach to the problem has been found to be the least effective. Their claims are not based on good research, but are based on their own political agendas. This topic itself is laced with obscure research and political agendas, so much so that it is sometimes to separate the good science from the political rhetoric."
