"There are several types of pornographic materials. First, are adult magazines. These are primarily marketed to adult men, but not exclusively. Playboy and Penthouse are among the pornographic magazines most widely distributed. The second type of pornography is the video, whether it be on cassette or DVD. These are rented or sold in adult bookstores or available via mail order. In some instances, regular movie rental stores have restricted areas where these can be selected and rented. Pornographic films are the third type of pornography.
