This paper discusses the function and importance of organizational analysis.
3,227 words (approx. 12.9 pages) | 6 sources | MLA | 2007 United States

Paper Summary:

The paper explains that organizational analysis does not only examine how the organization functions, but also the impact that the organization has on society and its employees. The paper examines the role of the Senior Financial Officer, the person that manages the strategic planning, budgeting, management information systems and decision-making, which are all very significant when it comes to how well an organization performs. The paper analyzes organization theory and organization design. The paper concludes that organizations must adapt to an environment that is ever-changing and must be constantly in search of new and innovative ways in which they can conduct their business.

From the Paper:

"When it comes to strategic planning and budgeting, the Senior Financial Officer is the person that has control, but there are others that work for this person and must be good at their jobs in order to keep problems from occurring within the company. The mission of the Organization is to provide high quality to the customers, and having a strong budget will allow this to take place without raising prices unnecessarily. While most of this works well, the planning and budgeting needs to be taken more seriously if the Organization is going to continue to do well and provide the customers with what they need without being required to charge more for what they offer."
