From the Paper:

"Although there are not much researches and studies that have been conducted concerning a direct comparison of job satisfaction between cardiac nurses and medical nurse units, it was a common finding from previous studies that job satisfaction of nurses depends on different factors both in their work environment and work condition. As it was indicated by Frances Storlie, providing nurses with opportunities to improve their knowledge and skills, and giving them the chance to participate in patient-care, are some of the influences to nurses' job satisfaction. This apparently is among the reasons why cardiac nurses are satisfied in their job. However, in contrast, medical care nurses were found to be less satisfied in their job. This is because they rarely play a role in patient-care. Instead, most of the time, they just act as assistants who follow instructions of doctors."
