"The CFAR Briefing Papers state the fact that presently: "There is not much specific information about the reorganization of support services in health care" [however] the Health Systems Integration Study which was conducted by Gillies and Shortell et al does provide some information in the way of experiential knowledge in this area. In their study Gillies and Shortell et al focused toward measuring 12 organized delivery systems in the U.S. Findings of their study state that the easiest areas to integrate were those of financial management, human resources, organizational culture, strategic planning, financial management operating policies and resource allocation."
