"Nowadays, drugs are a major concern for adults and a great contributing factor to adolescent deaths. In the past, many persons consumed drugs, but their use was not as widespread. For the most part, the persons that consumed drugs in the past were adults, or at least past the age of twenty. However, in recent times, the amount of drug consumption has increased. Furthermore, the age in which individuals consume drugs has decreased. In the past times, drugs were used for medical purposes. Notwithstanding, drug consumption nowadays has been used for purely abusive purposes. "
