The paper analyzes the impact the United States, as the global supremacy, has had both economically and politically on different countries. The paper discusses the problems involved in having a global government as well as the benefits. The paper looks at the way Europe and the European Union have understood the balance of powerful politics without letting any state take disproportionate power and suggests that the E.U. may yet become the next super power.
From the Paper:
"The success of globalization lies in the technology, which has been its strong driving force. It started off during the industrial revolution and took force in the computer age. Globalization brings the world closer in areas of communication, trade, travel and even politics. However, despite so many advantages, there is one drawback. The impact of technology has made our traditional lifestyles so fast that most of the time those who are not "well to do" cannot keep up with the changing trends. Its impact on media and financial power from this point of view is more aptly represented in other countries than in United States."
