"The aim of this paper is to elucidate the various factors involved in human sexuality and reproduction. These include ethnic, political, social, and especially economic variables. Other areas of interest to human sexuality and reproduction that are covered in this paper are patterns of sexual intercourse, and familial stability. Further, these variables are shown to all influence each other. Economic influence was seen to have been the most important factor in human reproduction, hence its frequency of analysis.In examining the marriage practices in contemporary America, a couple of interesting institutions can be seen. One involves the idea of the bride both as a reproductive resource and a productive liability. In some polygynous cultures, the wives can work productively as well as offer their reproductive capacities ..."
