Of all the forests in the world the rain forests are the most diverse and are being destroyed at the greatest rate. Rainforests cover only about 5% of earth, but they contain 50% of her species. This paper discusses the importance of Forests and shows that Forests are the most valuable eco-systems in the world, containing over 60 per cent of the world's biodiversity.
