Critical Path Method (CPM)

Paper Summary:

This paper identifies and evaluates the salient features of critical paths and critical chains to offer an insight into the potential problem areas and methodologies or options that can be used to understand and evaluate the problem. The author points out that CPM encourages managers and project members to draw graphically and identify various activities, which need to be accomplished for project completion, but in more extensive projects, these graphs and chains become very complex. Increasing efficiency and productivity have always been key factors in implementing any change."
