The paper explains that by examining the nature of school violence in American society, the dictates of school psychology and clinical psychology can create impressive, wide ranging studies that can divulge the real motivations for crime within a student or person on the verge of committing the crime.

"This crime study analysis will seek to understand the two methods of threat assessment policy that determine criminality in modern America. By assessing the profiling schematics of the Federal Bureau of investigation alongside the psychological approach used by the Secret Service, one can argue for the greater validity of the Secret Service model to help identify criminals. In this manner, the psychological approach offers a deeper insight into how threats can be assessed without demonizing people for their outward appearances, creeds, or racial identity."
