"Historically speaking, the people of Korea have been greatly influenced by Buddhism in their spiritual aspects. Buddhism which as I mentioned before was conveyed into Korea came to play the role of defending a country. There were priests who achieved very important state in many political affairs. Even during the war, they didn't only pray for the peace but also tried to fight against the enemies as soldiers directly.
