The dual setting of on-line and off-line learning are combined to administrate the sharing of content, establishing and continuing communication, and stimulating interaction. The web enhances learning in that it aids in the pragmatic goals as well as augmenting the pedagogical goals. Another feature is that there is both structured and unstructured learning. Unstructured learning can take place on-line through both synchronous and asynchronous conversations (ie. on-line chats and also message boards)."
